Hair & mua - BBC Proms, Royal Albert Hall

I had the absolute honour to style the hair and makeup for the incredibly talented soprano Erin Morley for a magical evening at the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London for the BBC Proms with BBC Radio 3.

The magic continued with performances by the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and massed forces, led by Peter Whelan with music from 18th-century Vienna, featuring Haydn’s choral tour de force the ‘Nelson Mass’ as well as works by Mozart and Zelenka.

For a flawless, stage-ready finish under the demanding concert lights, I curated a sophisticated beauty routine using some of my favourite professional products:

Skin & Base: Prepped with the legendary Magic Cream, followed by foundation and a touch of cream blusher for a natural, luminous flush. Set to perfection with setting spray—all by @charlottetilbury @ctcoventgardendarlings.

Eyes & Lips: Created a timeless, elegant eye using a neutral eyeshadow palette, and defined the lips with a classic lip pencil and lipstick, also from @charlottetilbury.

Definition & Detail: To ensure durability and depth on stage, I blended Mineralise Skinfinish pressed powders, powder blusher, eyeliner, eyebrow pencil, and mascara from @maccosmeticsuki @maccosmetics.

I use @mykitco makeup brushes

Crafting a look that feels both weightless for the performer and striking for a grand venue like the Royal Albert Hall is always a rewarding challenge.
